During the week we are offering a range of training events that will help you get the best out of trail running.
- Nordic poles Wednesday Monday, 7.30, 3rd July – David Baugh will introduce you to the use of Nordic Poles when running in the mountains. Poles are used extensively on long runs and races in Europe and can provide 20% saving in efficiency. David is a qualified International Nordic Walking Association instructor
- Mountain navigation Tuesday, 4th July 6.30 – Dave Say will teach you how to navigate efficiently and safely on the mountains using a map and compass. Dave is a qualified outdoor instructor with a lifetime’s worth of experience teaching and running in the mountains.
- Fell running techniques Thursday, 6th July 7.45 – Joe Cooper will teach you how to run effectively on hills focussing on technique and form for climbing and decsending. Joe is a qualified instructor with a wealth of experience on the fells and long distance footpaths.
